As past president of both the New York State Dietetic Association and Westchester/Rockland Dietetic Association and the 2006 recipient of Distinguished Dietitian Award, I strive to serve as a resource for people at every stage of the life cycle to improve health, prevent disease and maintain weight through individualized personal wellness programs.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and the New York State Dietetic Association
- Certified nutrition heart counselor for the American Heart Association
- Previous adjunct nutrition instructor at Manhattanville College
- Past president of the Westchester Rockland Dietetic Association
- B.S. in food science and management from Pratt Institute
- M.S. in nutrition from Hunter College
- Completed post-graduate studies in nutrition at New York Medical College
- 20 years in private practice
With a large portion of my life devoted to promoting nutrition, I help my patients best by attending and speaking at conventions and other events around the country that highlight the latest research in dietetics and medical nutrition therapy. I have provided on-site worksite wellness programs in Westchester County for many corporations.
